Ashley Lierz is a licensed Occupational Therapist in Kansas and Missouri. She holds a national board certification in Occupational Therapy, with an emphasis in pediatrics. Ashley has been a pediatric Occupational Therapist for 10 years and loves her job more everyday. She obtained her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center, in 2005. Ashley started her career at Children's Mercy Hospital, where she spent 10 years learning from the top the specialists in the region. She continues to be passionate about providing high-quality, specialized services, in order to care for Kansas City children and families. Her special interest areas include feeding therapy, fine motor and handwriting therapy, school readiness, sensory processing and interventions to help children improve self-regulation. She is uniquely positioned to offer these services to families in their own homes. This service model helps to bridge the gap between progress made in therapy and meaningful changes happening at home. Her greatest joy comes from seeing the look of discovery on a child's face when they learn a new skill.
